Greetings from Baja, Mexico! Where the beer is cold, the water warm and where uploading videos is a painful process!! On October 18th I left cold, rainy Canada seeking new adventures, sunshine, waves and wind. If you're interested in reading all about it find the details here! The journey down was incredible, and if you are looking for a new place to explore, I highly recommend the Baja.
I've currently set up my home (an '84 VW Westfalia) in La Ventana, just south of La Paz on the Sea of Cortez. This is where I plan to stay while the white stuff falls up north. I've been here only a couple days and am in love. The people are friendly, the food amazing and the wind has started to blow. I am a surfer before a kiter, and I'm sure it will take me a bit to adjust to the fact that howling winds are a good thing. But I look forward to what the winter brings. Plus surf is only 2 hours away and I'm sure there will be many road trips to go explore the Pacific.
This months yoga video was filmed on the Sea of Cortez in 'Bahia de Los Angeles', a pit stop on our way down the Baja. This area was stunning and we practically had it to ourselves. I got up early to practice while the sun rose, and was lucky enough to watch the full moon set at the same time.
This session is super chill, and explores some breathing at the beginning. I hope you enjoy!
