Hello from La Ventana, Mexico. Where wind lovers migrate for the winter. In my opinion, wind is good for only a few things. Kiting, windsurfing, sailing, producing electricity oh and maybe drying laundry.
This video was interesting to film due to the wind. I had just finished kiting, and had been totally over powered on my 8 meter kite. For those of you who don't know much about kiting it means I was close to out of control because my kite was too big for the strength of the wind. (Another reason for me being out of control could be my lack of skill - but lets not go there!)
I thought it would be a brilliant time to do this months video instead. Sure, it made for a good backdrop. It also meant that through the whole video I was being pelted by sand. The tripod struggled to stay steady. My camera lens was instantly covered by salt water and sand particles. And there were a couple times while doing some standing balancing poses where I nearly fell over due to the soft sand and the wind! I'm still finding the beach in my ears and hair...
The focus in this months video is getting into your hamstrings. There is a fair amount of time spent holding the poses so that you can really sense and get in there - be sure to adjust as you need to. Plus I talk a lot! Unfortunately for you I don't reveal my secrets on how to lengthen your hamstrings with ease. For that I would have to charge you! Don't worry. I do drop a few hints and do some explaining in the video. But if you want to learn more you'll have to come to one of my retreats!
I hope you enjoy!
